Why we do this:

• The vast majority of Guatemalans have little or no access to health care and cannot afford even basic medical care.
• Serving these people can be a life-changing event for both the patients and the providers.
• It allows us to experience a culture so close to home but so different than ours.
• We gain greater insight into team building and problem solving and bring those skills back to our own communities.
